ImpactNote

Terms of Service

Last updated 20 June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ImpactNote ("we", "us"), a service created and operated by Theophilus Fredrick. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use ImpactNote.

The service

ImpactNote lets you record short weekly reflections and turns them into an organized library and interview answers. ImpactNote is currently in beta: features may change, and parts may occasionally be unavailable.

Your account

You sign in with your email and a one-time code. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 16 to use ImpactNote.

Your content

What you record and write is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, including sending it to our AI provider to transcribe and structure it, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you choose to record, and for not including others' confidential information without permission.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you let us use them to improve ImpactNote freely, without any obligation or payment to you. We appreciate them.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse ImpactNote: no unlawful, abusive or infringing content, no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, and no using it to violate anyone else's rights.

AI output

ImpactNote uses AI to transcribe and summarize your reflections and to draft interview answers. AI can make mistakes, and transcripts and summaries may be imperfect. Review anything important before you rely on it.

Availability and changes

Because ImpactNote is in beta, we may add, change or remove features, or pause the service, at any time. We'll try to avoid disruption but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

No warranty

ImpactNote is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of ImpactNote.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
